For years, my parents enjoyed retired life on Cape Cod.  Like many, as they became older, they needed some help. Moving was not an option. They were adamant about remaining in their own home where they were happy and comfortable.  I was leading a very hectic life off Cape, working and raising children.  I was unable to give mom and dad the attention they deserved.  It was a nightmare trying to find reliable, trustworthy services to  accomplish their desire to live independently at home.

As an experienced Registered Nurse and Geriatric Case Manager, I knew I wanted more than a "paid employee." I wanted someone who was not only highly qualified and honest, but also someone who would take a genuine interest in my parent's well-being. I never found what I was looking for. There had to be a better solution!

Therefore, in 1997 I started HOME TO STAY. It is a very personalized in-home service  to help people like my Mom and Dad who wish to live independently in their own homes  do so safely, comfortably, and with the peace of mind knowing they will not be alone. 

Acknowledging our limitations can make all the difference. It is often the "nuts and bolts" of everyday living that can be challenging as we age. This may be due to a failing health, loss of a spouse, depression, difficulty driving, memory loss, diminishing eyesight or just plain lack of interest or energy. Those who are wise enough to accept help at the right time, are the lucky ones. It is wonderful to see lives turn around. Health improves, burdens are lifted, spirits are brightened, and  enduring friendships are made. .

When needed, we will advocate for the very best health resources available for you. After hospitalizing, or a rehab stay, Home Health Aids can provide personal care, and see to your medical needs. Throughout the process,  we will remain in close contact with family members  to lessen their stress and fears.
